My Story…
I have been a Financial Adviser with my own practice for almost 20 years now. I’ve seen many things and been through many iterations of my life over the years and evolved now to support you on your journey.
I commenced my life as a teacher of English to migrants and studied a degree in Business Management specialising in Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management and Change Management and worked in that field for 10 years.
In that time I worked in the change management field, with clinical psychologists in Employer Assistance Programs (EAP). I worked with some of the largest organisations at the senior levels with CEO’s and senior executive levels in leadership, strategic management, coaching senior management teams, performance management and middle management team building and staff training programs.
Then after completing all the post-graduate studies in finance, built my business. Since 2016 I have my own privately held Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) as one of the few women at this top level in the industry.
I am currently serving on the Board of the Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals (AIOFP) supporting the financial planning industry by representing financial advisers. In April 2021 I was awarded Joint Member of the Year for services to the members.
Along the way I spent many years of my life working with women’s issues and groups such as President of Business and Professional Women (BPW) Canberra and served as a member on the Sydney Women in Finance Committee.
A passion of mine is to assist women with their financial growth and development that adds a quality to society, so I created the Wise Girls Money program. Women told me that they wanted to learn how to create their own financial future. Wise Girls Money Mission is to provide the opportunity and place for growth and development of women of all ages in personal and financial skills in a supported female environment so that they take control of their future to become financially competent and capable to reach their own financial independence.
